KDT Academy is a full time, private member's fitness and combat sports facility located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

The gym was established in 1998 when it first provided instruction in Shotokan karate, then later to Kissakikai karate, Evolution Fitness Boxing and in 2003 we went full time offering our popular Core Strength Boot Camp.

2005 to the present: Fizfit Workouts, Kettlebell Workouts, Crazy Monkey Defense, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

KDT are the initials for "Kissaki Defensive Tactics" to reflect its origins and heritage.

Occupying a dedicated 1000 square foot, fully matted space inside Bangsar Puteri Condominium, we provide kettlebells, jump ropes, stability balls, medicine balls, chin up bars, power wheels, Indian clubs, resistance bands, suspension cables and the experienced instruction to get you into the best shape of your life.

Over the years, strong bonds of friendship, cameraderie and associations have been forged from all walks of life and across the glove. We have played host to visitors from all countries seeking to train and to become healthier, stronger and fitter.

KDT has a reputation for its unconventional, no-nonsense, no-frills, functional strength and conditioning program, while providing cutting edge training modalities to deliver the most effective and enjoyable workouts for its members. You won't find any machines or treadmills here but you will find some of the strongest, toughest and most resilient athletes inside. Group class workouts are available daily Monday to Saturday.
