" Rodney is a great teacher. One of the best I've ever seen. He got his concepts through very well and most of his ideas were quite useful. Especially the application of footwork and balance * Rigan (Machado) is a top notch dude. Great teacher who erased my earlier scepticisms of his teaching ability on the first day. Gold session was really cool - although the promise of fine-tuning the sparring with him (I did say that) didnt quite happen; it was a good session nevertheless, a little hyping!
Got to give it to Rodney and his with super coaching material - fight compass, and other CMD stuff conceptualised in a way that is very reminiscent of management consultancy techniques.
Great balance of BJJ, approachable with reasonably simple drills, and CMD. This year I saw a clear attempt to change partners - wasn't as much the case last year "
